With a Dashboard, you can add different Saved views that will provide you with all the information you need in a single, beautifully organized view. This makes Dashboards a great reporting tool within FreeAgent CRM.
In this tutorial, we will cover the following topics:
Navigating to Manage Dashboards
Open the menu and go to 'Reporting > Dashboards'.
Here you will see a list of all the Dashboards created by you and your team members.
Admins have access to all saved dashboards by default. Other users will only be able to see dashboards that have been shared with the rest of the team when they were created.
Using Filters
Just like with other views, you can use filters to make adjustments that will determine which dashboards you can see.

Creating a Dashboard
To create a new Dashboard, click the 'New Dashboard' button located in the top right corner. Give your Dashboard a name and then click the 'Save' button.
Your new Dashboard will be added to the list. To start adding 'Widgets' also known as 'Saved Views', just click on the name of your Dashboard.

Adding Widgets to a Dashboard
Click the Dashboard's name to get started. Here click the 3 dots icon to display the available options and then click 'Add View'.
You create a widget using a Saved View or you can embed your own custom settings in the widget.
Creating a Saved View
FreeAgent CRM gives you the option to generate dashboards based on your Saved Views, which means that you can filter the data exactly as you need it for your Dashboard, create a Saved View and FreeAgent CRM will take it from there.
Creating a Saved view means that if you have applied filters, rearranged the order and width of the columns in the list view, or applied any special view configuration, you will be able to save it and come back to it any time.

Updating an Existing Saved View
You can update your existing Saved views by adding more filters, changing the configuration, and even adding some sorting options. If you decide to update it and you want to keep this new version, you can save your changes. This is a great option to keep your Saved views up-to-date, without having to create multiple new ones.
Just make your changes and click the 'Save changes' option.
Rearranging your Dashboard's Widgets
You can rearrange the views by dragging and dropping them in the desired location. The others will be automatically rearranged. You can also change the dimensions of the views by using the resizing tool available at the bottom right corner of each View.
Deleting Dashboards
To delete an existing dashboard click on the checkbox to the right of its name and then click the 'Delete' button.
Note: This action cannot be undone and there isn't a confirmation step, which means that the Dashboard will be deleted as soon as you click the 'Delete' button. It is important that you only delete the Dashboards that you created.
