What is a Card?
Cards are essentially small summaries for a record in any of your Apps. A card can be customized to show you the most relevant information you need at a glance. Let's explore where they will appear and how to set them up to suit your specific needs.
Where Are Cards Used?
Your card configuration will show in every view where Cards can be found. The Rolodex & Board Views are perfect examples, you will also notice the Cards in the Related List on the right side of the screen and in the mobile app.
Cards are smart, as they will adjust their size to include only the information available for each one of your Records. And the best part of it all is that they look exactly the same across all your views in the system.
Navigate to Card Configuration
Open the menu and navigate to Settings > Apps, then select your desired app and click on the 'Card Configuration' tab. You can also use the search function to get there faster, start typing 'Card Configuration'.
Customize your Card
When working with multiple Apps, having the right information at a glance is essential. Customizing your Card allows you to display the most relevant details for your workflow.
How to Customize Your Card
- Edit Fields: Click on any displayed field to replace it with another available option.
- Add a Cover Image: Choose between a Thumbnail or Landscape display.
- Configure the Card Body & Footer: Select the key details you want to highlight and decide if you need additional information in the footer.
- Color Code Your Cards: Use Choice List colors to categorize cards by type, priority, or stage for better organization.
Real-Time Updates
As you add, edit, or remove fields, the card preview updates instantly to reflect your changes. Dynamic fields, like “# of Interactions”, adjust based on the specific needs of each App, giving you deeper insights at a glance.
Streamline your team's workflow by adding Primary Actions to your Cards, enabling team members to perform tasks with a single click.
- Select Actions: Choose the actions you want to include on your Card. For example, selecting 'Delete' will add a delete icon to the Card, allowing users to remove it with one click.
- Add Multiple Actions: You can incorporate multiple actions to suit your team's needs.
- Save Configuration: After selecting your fields and configuring the Card, click the 'Save' button to apply your changes
