In Servis.ai, you can add, edit, or delete records within your apps to keep your data up to date.
A record is a single item or entry—essentially the basic building block of your app.
Managing these records by creating, updating, or removing them is key to how you use and customize each app to fit your needs.

Navigate to Apps
There are a few different ways to get to the app you want.
- Search Bar
- Left-Hand Menu
- App Home Screen
Creating a Single Record in any App
To create a new record in any App navigate to any view you have saved for your app and then click on the 'Add' button in the top right corner of the screen.
Once you click the 'Add' button the record creation modal will appear. This will look slightly different depending on the application you're adding a record. Each app will have its own set of fields and sections.
Note: Fields that have the '*' symbol right next to them are mandatory fields, which means they must be filled out in order to create the record.
There are also system fields that will be filled in automatically by FreeAgent. These fields are greyed out and can't be accessed when creating a record.
Note: Read/Write access to some fields could be restricted. Contact your team's administrator for more information.
You will be redirected to the record's detail page so you can start interacting with it right away.
Creating Multiple Records (Import CSV File)
Adding multiple records to any of your Apps in Servis.ai is fast and easy when importing through a CSV file.
Requirements: Access to Import CSV files could be restricted. If you are unable to Import data, contact your team's administrator.

Editing a Single Record
Click on the pencil icon to the left of the record you wish to edit.
If you are on the record detail page, click on the 'Edit' button in the top right corner of the screen.
You will be able to change all the information related to your record, including the owner. Once you are done with the changes click "Save".
Bulk Edit & Update Records
To update several records at once, follow these steps:
- Open the App you want to work on.
- Switch to List View.
Select the Records:
- Use the checkbox next to each record to select them individually.
- Or, click the checkbox at the top to select the first 50 records.
- A message will show how many records are selected.
- To select all available records, click "Select all X records".
Edit the Fields:
- Click on any field to enter or update information.
- Modified fields will be highlighted in blue.
- You can edit multiple fields at once, including custom fields.
Note: These changes will be applied to all the records you selected, therefore you should avoid changes to fields that don't have the same value on all of them.
Saving Your Changes:
Once you've finished editing the records:
- Click the “Save” button.
- A success message will appear to confirm the update.
- The List View will refresh automatically to show your changes.
Note: The update may take a few seconds, depending on how many records were edited and how much data was changed.
Bookmark Records
When adding a new record you may have noticed this bookmark icon in the top right corner of the window.
This is for bookmarking records you create or edit to the Right-Hand Menu in Servis.ai. This is incredibly useful when working with multiple records from different applications. It's best to see this in action to gain an understanding of how this works. See the short video below:
Edit Individual Fields with a Double Click
If you just want to edit specific fields in a few records simply navigate to List View and double-click on the field you want to edit. It's that simple.
Deleting a Record
You will notice the delete button in the top right corner of the record's Detail Page, and the 'trash can' icon. On the card, it is available when you hover over the 3 dots icon.
Once you click on it, you will be prompted to confirm the process. Once you click on the "Delete" button your record will be deleted from Servis.ai. This action cannot be undone.
Bulk Delete Records
You can delete several records at once from the List View of your desired App:

Open the App and switch to List View.

Select the records to delete by:
- Checking the box next to each record, or
- Clicking the top checkbox to select the first 50 records.
- An indicator will show how many records you've selected.
- To select all records, click “Select all X records” (use with caution—deletion cannot be undone).

Once records are selected, the “Delete” button will become active.

Click “Delete”, then confirm in the popup window by clicking “Delete” again.
Important: This action is permanent and cannot be reversed. Proceed carefully.
