Servis.ai simplifies contact management by offering multiple phone number formatting options that align with regional and international standards. These formats ensure consistency, improve data accuracy, and enhance system integrations.
Additionally, Servis.ai includes Smart Sharing, a feature that enables users to link phone calls to multiple records across different apps. This functionality ensures a comprehensive communication history, improving accessibility and record tracking within the platform.
Phone Number Format
Servis.ai allows users to choose the preferred format for phone number fields, ensuring consistency and compatibility across the system. Below are the supported formats:
E.164 Format
E.164 is the globally recognized phone number format recommended by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). It includes:
- Country code
- National destination code
- Subscriber number
For example, a U.S. phone number in E.164 format appears as:
+1 555 1234567
Here, +1 is the country code, 555 is the area code, and 1234567 is the subscriber number.
National Format
Each country has its own standard format for displaying phone numbers. National formats typically include the country and area codes, followed by the subscriber number.
For example, a U.S. number in national format is displayed as:
(555) 123-4567
International Format
The international phone number format follows the same structure as E.164 but omits the plus sign (+). It consists of:
- Country code
- National destination code (if applicable)
- Subscriber number
For example, a U.S. phone number in international format is written as:
1 555 1234567
Enable Smart Sharing
Smart Sharing allows users to associate emails with multiple records across all apps through a dropdown selection. This feature ensures that the selected records include the email in their Activity Timeline, improving tracking and accessibility.
Enable Smart Sharing
Smart Sharing allows users to associate calls with multiple records across all apps through a dropdown selection in the share field. This feature ensures that the selected records on the share field will be included in their Activity Timeline.
By default, the share field will suggest an entry based on the active detail page. E.g.
In the GIF below, the email is being sent to a contact, while the share field automatically suggests the associated account as an entry. This happens because the active Detail Page belongs to that Account.
Accounts Use Case
For example, when using Smart Sharing into an account you can pick the contact information from the information panel or you can choose records from the Related List for Contacts. This ensures that the call record appears on both the account’s and Contact Record's Detail Page.
In the example shown, the call is going to be for Louis Anderson. The share field follows a structured format, displaying the name of the App followed by the specific record name within the app. In this case, it appears as "Account - Servis.ai."
However, users can extend visibility by selecting entries on the share field, providing a more comprehensive reference within the system.
