Usage Example
This is one of the most versatile widgets in FreeAgent. You choose the application you would like to pull information from and then you can filter the information you would like to see.
You can use it to view the newest clients you've added to your business. See the items on your to-do list. Or even a list of upcoming meetings for the week.
Configuration
There are only two fields you need to configure for this widget.
Title
First, give your widget a name.
Values
Second, you need to add values.
The labels are simply to give your numbers a description within your widget. To configure the values you'd like to display click on the green cog icon to the right of the label.
1. App
Select the application you would like to reference. This will determine what values you can use for your numbers.
2. Conditions
If you've used filters in FreeAgent you'll be comfortable setting up your conditions for your values. See the following article to learn more about filters in FreeAgent:
You can create multiple filters, riles for sorting, groups, and even calculations. As you add conditions you can see your widget update in real time.
3. Field
Once your filters are in place you can choose the field you would like to pull your values from. Keep in mind you will only be able to see the fields that in the application you chose earlier.
4. Format Mask
You can decide how you would like your numbers formatted. For example, if you would like one decimal point you would enter "0.0".
Layout
Now you can decide where you would like to place your widget and how large it should be. It's as simple as dragging and dropping with your mouse or trackpad.
