In this tutorial, we will cover the following topics:
Navigate to Form Builder
Go to 'Settings' and then select the application you would like to work in. Then select the 'Form Builder' tab at the top of the screen.
Sections
Add Sections
Adding a new section for your forms works in the exact same way for all your apps. Click the 'Add' button and then select 'Add Section'.
Choose a name for your section and click the 'Save' button once you are done.
Edit Sections and Reorder Fields
Hover your cursor over the three dots next to any of your Section titles to see the options menu. From here you can do the following:

Here you can edit the details of your form section.
Add Field
Now you can add fields for your sections by accessing this options menu. There's no need to navigate to the 'Fields' tab to add new ones.
Reorder Fields
You can reorder fields within each section of your form.
Reorder Sections
Click on the Reorder button in the top right-hand corner of the screen to reorder your sections.
Fields
You can create additional Fields for your contacts, accounts, opportunities, tasks, or any of your Apps within FreeAgent CRM or edit the existing ones.
You will notice that the system includes a set of predefined fields, however, it is entirely possible to edit, rearrange, deactivate, and even delete them.

Add Fields
You can add fields in two different places.
1. The first is on the right side of the screen. Just click on the 'Add' button and then select 'Add Field'.
The Field selection window will then open. All of the fields are broken down by category making it easy to select the one that best suits your needs.
Once you've selected your field type the field creation window will open. From here you can configure your field.
2. The second location is contained within the options menu for each of your sections. Hover over the three dots next to the section title and then click "Add Field". This method will automatically place your new field in the Section you've selected.
Edit and Deactivate Fields and Sections
Deactivating a Field
You can deactivate a field by hovering your cursor over the three dots next to the field you want to select. This will bring up the options menu. From here you can edit or deactivate the Field. If your Field is a Choice List you can use this menu to edit that list.
If you need to reactivate a Field you can access them by navigating to the "Fields" tab and clicking on the "Show Deactivated" checkbox.
hover your cursor over the "..." menu next to the name of the field you want and click on "Activate".
Deactivating a Section
If you have no FIelds Assigned
If you have no Fields assigned to your section you can deactivate it. Just hover over the "..." menu next to the name and select "Deactivate Section".
If you have Fields Assigned
You can't deactivate a Section if you still have Fields assigned to it. This applies to active and deactivated fields.
Edit the Fields and move them to a different section. Once all Fields have been moved you'll be able to deactivate the Section.
